Cal.e.’s Korner

C.: Hey, D.C., I’m bored, so what do you want to talk about today?

D.: Giving.

C.: Now, hold on. If you’ve been scammed and are trying to get me to fall for the same scam so you and I can access all of my third husband, (and second here on Earth) the now eight -time World Association of Cat-fighting and Knowledge of Ornithology, Tucker Two Two, a.k.a. The Cat Fighter Formerly Known as The Tuxedo (who really needs a shorter nickname) Now Simply Known as T. Because Triple T Was Already Taken (by his former BFF, Business Partner with the Triple T Cartel and WACKO tag-team partner and then chief rival for his eight WACKO championship belts and nemesis in real life; whom he knocked out in a Texas Cage Grudge Match and then climbed the ladder and got two delicious Planet of the Talking Cats Cat Treats (for flavor that’s out of this world, try POTTC cat treats and food. Your cat will thank you for it) and woke him up to share one delicious treat with him and is now his best bud again, The Original Triple T, Tom the Tabby)’s money,  I’m listening.

D.: No, it’s not like that.

C.: Well, what is it like?

D.: You know what a big heart Eudora has.

C.: Yes. You said that, if y’all had adopted all y’alls foster children, and Eudora wanted to do, your family would be almost as big as mine.

D.: That’s true, but this is along a different line.

C.: Go on.

D.: Well, when we first got married, Eudora asked me what I thought her best physical feature was. I was trying to decide between two things. Since her waist-length blonde hair was in my vision, I said, “your hair.” Six months later, she cut her hair off up to her shoulders and gave what she’d cut off to Locks for Love.

C.: Who now?

D.: It’s an organization that makes wigs out of real hair for people who have had cancer and undergone radiation and chemotherapy treatments and lost their hair as a result.

C.: Well, it sounds like a good thing, but you must have been disappointed that she no longer had that long and beautiful hair.

D.: Oh, no. Quite the opposite. I was actually relieved.

C.: Relieved? Why were you relieved?

D.: Because my other choice was her legs.

C.:…That’s all the time we have for today, folks. That’s the end of this cat ta(i)le. Please join us next time for another edition of Cal.E.’s Korner.
